So we have the choice this year between The Old Guy (Democrat) or the guy who is under indictment and was arrested and has a mug shot (Republican).
Trump was just rated the worst President to ever sit in the Oval Office by Historical Scholars this past President’s Day. There are 100 million reasons for this distinction, from giving the finger to the Emolument Clause of the Constitution or to trying to inciting a coup against America in the seat of democracy, The Capitol, because he lost the 2020 Election. There are so many things this man has done over the decades and being a white wealthy male of privilege he gets a pass. Why?
A wonderful mother, Kelley Williams-Bolar wanted the best for her children and lied about her address so they could go to a better school served nine days in prison and got 3 years probation and 80 hours of community service. The distinction is she is black and a woman and he isn’t.
This man is devoid of reality because of his privilege. His acolytes are scary at best and treasonous at worst. They follow his white male dominance first and his bigotry while screaming “God Bless America”. He told them they need a dictator an he’s the guy. The hoot and hollered cheers of acceptance. He told them, he is above the law and they cheered that too.
This man is a narcissistic megalomanic but the one thing I will never grip my mind around is that men and a few women serving in our military today worship him (which is frowned upon in the Bible, js). He is a 5 time draft dodger. He has called their Generals Stupid, crazy and least we forget, LOSERS. Yet as acolyte they follow him, because why?
Let’s look at Grampa Joe. Yes, he is a little creepy sometimes but he actually thinks he is funny even when he is not.
Under his administration, during Covid he brought relief for millions of families with children. What did he do? He temporarily raised the limit on the Child Tax Credit to $3600 and then gave monthly installments to families directly. It was the first time in decades the Child Poverty rate in America went down.
Some people are a fan of student depth relief. I am, in as much as, they should eliminate the interest rates not wipe out the entire debt. This would help the Millennials and Gen-Z’s pay it off faster. It was choice to go to college and which college they chose. I do believe that there were nefarious doings in selling these loans. Eliminate the interest and they are paying back their true college debt.
These are just two things in hundreds that Biden has done in his administration. He also didn’t play golf every 4 days as did Trump (on his private golf courses and the cost to Americans was in upwards of $100 million dollars).
Let me bring up Hunter Biden now. The guy is a true blue dirtbag. He is the grown son of the President. Whatever he does are his own choices like any adult child. He drug problem was only his to change or control. Every decision he makes is on him. Republicans say he is being protected. Sure, if that helps you sleep at night. But when and if Hunter goes to jail how will you attack Joe?
I was brought into the Republican party when I was 18 years old. I campaigned for Reagan. I voted for Reagan. I thought they really did stand for Family Values, Were Pro-American and were the beacons of fiscal responsibility. As the decades waned I became more disillusioned. They aren’t pro America. They rally around the Russians like rats to the pied piper. They have no Family Values because if they did we as one of the wealthiest countries in the world would the highest child poverty rate of an industrialized nation. They have increased our national debt after every democrat President before them reduced or in Clinton’s case, reversed the debt. These men have decreased American safety at home and in the world. Millennials and Gen-Z’s are exhausted and really have just given up on the “American Dream”.
Then January 6, 2021 happened, my country had become a place of crazy people and hooligans. Acolytes lead to slaughter by morons who deemed themselves scholars. Whipping the crazies into a frenzy to the point they wanted to hang Mike Pence, VP at the time. They stormed the Capitol building and hooligan child like behavior of defecating on the desks and floors was to themselves their proudest moments of life. The world laughed at us in unison. What these hooligans didn’t understand or didn’t really care about is that it was only a ceremony for the election. Nothing would change the outcome of the election. Someone died. The Capitol police were decimated with lifelong injuries and the savior never pardoned his acolytes.
I would no longer be a Republican as a RINO or otherwise. The acolytes call people like me names but my favorite name of all is WOKE. I am woke, unlike my delusional county persons. Trump is a megalomanic narcissist and his interest are his own. He is an admitted criminal. He is an admitted want-to-be Dictator. He is an admitted lover of all things Putin and Russia and would sell us all to slavery for his own benefit.
So in 2024 I will not vote Republican. I will hope that Speaker Mike Johnson falls from his podium and is replaced by sanity.
Will I vote for the Old Guy…at this point yes but in reality there is a whole lot of time left before the election.
