Every year I remember Kazimierz Smolen. If you don’t know him, you should!
This year Remembering the Holocaust is more important than ever. Our World’s citizens are in crisis. In my country, America, it is sickening to me that white Americans are embracing Fascism and Nazi principles. People of Wealth and “Power” are publicly using the Nazi Salute. America has officially become a joke of a country. This is not Democracy. All of the steps that Hitler used when he first came into power the Republican Party of the US are using right now. It’s disgusting!
Kazimierz had left his message to the world in hopes this would never take shape again in future years. It only took 82 years. We didn’t learn from the suffering of Millions in the 1930’s & 1940’s. Is America doomed? I would say yes based on the fact that the racists in charge of our government are trying to deport Native American Tribesmen and women. WTH? These people are the only REAL Americans in our country.
Not to mention the US Cabinet is filled with people that in the past would never have been able to pass security checks. This time around with Trump…there are no security checks.
I hope America survives the next 4 years. It doesn’t look good on day 7 of Trump’s second administration.
Never forget the Holocaust was a REAL part of history. Let’s stop it from happening again!
