The People of Lahaska

I like to take lots of pictures and one of my favorite subjects to photograph are people of the general public.  While at Peddler’s Village this weekend I did just that with some interesting captures.

I love hats and was very jealous of this girls hat.  It was awesome!

Families enjoying the pre-autumnal day!

Enjoying the beautiful wonders around us all.  It was perfection!  If this is how summer ends I can’t wait to see how autumn begins 🙂

Welcome To Lahaska

The weather was picture perfect this weekend so we headed to Lahaska for the start of the Scarecrow Festival that runs between now and Halloween.

Since I am a Candy Crush recovering addict I felt this Scarecrow submission to be the most frightening of all, lol.

Bean had to explain this one to me and after that I thought it was really cute.  The one scarecrow has Bruce Willis’ John McClain character’s face.  The scarecrow is called “Die Hard Phillies Phans”, lol.  Very clever scarecrow builder, very clever indeed!

“Forrest Grump”  HA HA HA!

The bird on this man’s shoulder is his pet and loyal sidekick.  They were adorable together.  The bird was free to fly away and always came back to this man.  They are quite the “Besties”.

I have more to share from our adventure so I will spread it out over a couple of posts.  Y’all Come Back Now 😉

Frolicking with Scarecrows

Halloween is my Christmas.  Autumn is the most awesome time of the year!  What does this all mean…Fun and Frolic has commenced!!!

This weekend we went to Peddler’s Village for the Scarecrow festival.  Very Cool.

There were reminders of Harvest time…

I brought a little of Hollywood to the occasion with my spider glasses.  This was a miraculous moment as I am totally afraid of Spiders…real or otherwise!

Fabulous…right?

This was my favorite Scarecrow of the event.

While waking out of the “pet store” in the village I actually heard a woman ask….

“Do you sell sunglasses for dogs?”  That my friends is just crazy stuff…but then again I dress my dogs up at Halloween for a photo-op…so there you have it.
