FOS Project: John & Molly’s

This weekend we were took time to visit Air Victory Museum.  It was fun.  it’s a small Museum in Lumberton, NJ.  Totally worth the visit.

After our visit I used Trip Advisor to find a good place to have lunch.  John and Molly’s was rate #1 for the area.

It didn’t disappoint.  The portions were huge.  The food was good and best of all they had French Onion Soup on the menu.

This FOS was super tasty.  I’m always excited when I see a place has prime rib on the menu because they tend to have the best FOS.  This soup was super awesome!  I was prepared to move it to the #1 FOS I’ve ever had.  I now think it’s tied for # with the Rio Station in Wildwood, NJ.

Check out John & Molly’s for some tasty foods!

We were in New Jersey and in NJ they have welcome centers all over the place.  So being the avid travelers were are we stopped in and HELLO!!! They had stuff to stick my face in 🙂

Río Grande de los Muertos

I love cemeteries.  This everyone knows.  Sometimes if I’m driving along and see a cemetery I stop and take pictures.  That was the case last week.  We were driving down Rio Grande in Wildwood, New Jersey and I spotted this cemetery that was so oddly placed.  I loved that about it right from the start.

It was an older cemetery with a mix of new internment.  One grave site stood out amongst the others, John Brown (1832 – 1899).

I’m not sure if this is a legitimate plant or poison ivy/oak but I wasn’t about to touch it to find out, lol.  It looked ominous and I’d prefer to suspect it’s poison ivy, lol.

John Brown

I’m not sure what Johnny did in life to deserve this but I’m very intrigued right now to find out.  So I’m going to do some research and let you know what I find.

The Heart Grew A Lot Fonder

This weekend I went away with some of my school mates from High School (yes we graduated like 5 years ago, lol).  We had a lot of fun and tons of laughs but I still missed my Bean.  Life is like that.  One day I was content to be alone and the next I couldn’t see a future without my love.  I got to see her last night and everything was good again.

Paging Bobby Rydell!

It was a windy day on Saturday but it didn’t stop us from seeing the sights.

I’ve never done an Autumn sunset in New Jersey before and lets just say it didn’t disappoint!

Sunset at Reeds Beach

I’m not sure what was going on with my hair but I just went with it.  I was captivated by the colors dancing around me.

The Dunes made for nice picture-taking!

We danced, we ate, we sang, we played with Monica’s Knockers and yes…we told a million stories about the old days when being 17 seemed like being old.

This sign had little to do with my weekend other than I took a picture of it on my weekend adventure 😉
