It happened again yesterday. Someone said “Shut it down, shut it all down”. I of course went back to Ghostbusters.
“Everything was okay until old dickless shutdown the power grid.” ~ Ray Stantz
“Is that true?” ` The Mayor
“Yes, it’s true, this man has no dick.” ~ Peter Vinkman
Some would find my life sad. I find it hysterical. I’m weird like that!
Van Williams died at the age of 82 on November 29th. He was best known as The Green Hornet. I loved that show.
I was really little when it was on in the 60’s but it’s one of my favorites.
I think it was his car that made me love this show. Van brought humor to the action packed show.
Earlier in his career he was known for being Troy Donahue’s side kick on Surfside 6. Who doesn’t love a good beach show? He was part of the early glamour studs in TV and Movies.
It’s hard losing these wonderful actors/actresses. It’s like a piece of my childhood goes with them. RIP Mr. Van Williams!
Bean surprised the family with tickets to see “A Christmas Carol” in town at the Historical Walnut Theater.
The cast was amazing and the musicality was on mark.
The one thing that shocked me was how scary ‘Old Jacob Marley’s Ghost’ was and that the children would be as equally shocked, lol.
Maybe it was the booming thunder or the flashing lightning when he came into the room. All I know is that it left many seats unoccupied when the smaller ones jumped onto the laps of Mommy’s and Daddy’s, lol.
All in all it was a 5 star performance by the Walnut Street Players! Well done!
This weekend definitely held the Christmas Theme for us. On Saturday, we went to Hope Lodge to share in a little Christmas Cheer…Colonial Style.
The Volunteers who run this grand old mansion did an amazing job with decorating. They covered all of the time periods that the house was in use. From Colonial to Modern.
Miss Erin dress up in Colonial garb to keep the illusion going.
I love trains. This everyone knows, so to see a train going is aces for me.
They even displayed metal trains from approximately 1920’s-1930’s. It was a wonderful Time.
First you are probably wondering why all of these posts are posted on 12/1. Well there are lots of reasons but mostly I’m just lazy. So instead of posting each day I’m posting days worth of entries all at once. Yeah…it’s stupid, lol.
I wasn’t feeling well last weekend and I was just lying around in the recliner when this happened…
As you know (if you read my blog) I love toys/action figures. I’ve even created a fantasy world where they are alive. It all started with a little Troll named Bjorn and 12 years later I’m still doing it.
I got this Hillary Clinton action figure for my birthday this year.
I was playing around with Snap Chat and these pictures are the result of my crazy views of life.
I’m not going to lie… I had fun and think the pictures turned out well. Snap Chat is a useful app.
Someday I will grow up…or not…I’m going to go with not, lol!
You never know what you will end up with at the end of the day with me. I love this hat and to top it off it’s super warm for the winter! Happy or Crazy this is one snugly Elf!
The beach offers an amazing time of people watching. Sometimes they do amazing things. Sometimes they just are fun to watch and sometimes they make for a great picture.
So many memories of excellent vacations. And all of these people are part of my memories of a wonderful time at the Jersey Shore 2016. Thank you all!
I love the beach. I love to take pictures. Here are some of the pictures I took of the Beach.
It’s always nice to see the kinds swimming and jumping the waves. Reminds me of my childhood.
Who doesn’t love seagulls?
The calm before the storm…Hermine hasn’t hit yet so the water perfect.
There was a plane celebration at the Cape May Airport so we got to see lots of vintage planes flying on the beach line. This WWII Bomber was an amazing sight.
Flags were a big sight this year. Many folks flew their college favors flags.
I can’t wait until I post The People of the Beach. So many fun folks this year!
We head to the Jersey Shore every year on vacation to soak up the Sun and Surf. Our Realtors are Jerry and Norm never disappoint when finding us the right location for our adventures. They are awesomeness times a quadrillion!!! Love these guys!
Each year we also like to incorporate one thing we have never done before into the mix of sightseeing and vacation adventures. This year…I give you the Alpaca!
This is Oliver!
I can’t remember all of their names but I remember Oliver because he knows his name and loves to take selfies and other photos! Oh and he’s way cuter than the Kardashians!
Kiss me you fool!!
Actually she just wanted some carrots. The high point of my visit was me asking Lightning if he would say Welcome To New Jersey (he was honking and being verbal). His response was to spit on me, HA HA HA! Yup, that’s seems like a fair Jersey welcome, lol! If you get a chance to visit the South Jersey Area stop by Jersey Shore Alpacas!
I recently discover that most people don’t do things like I do things. Example…food shopping. I cut my coupons, got my cart and recycled bags and headed out with my list of what we needed for the week. So far normal, right?
I took Pepe King Prawn with me because I’ve always got some kind of action figure in my pocket. My wife recently got Pepe for me because well he’s the most awesome Muppet (sorry Kermit) and she’s cool like that.
These are just a few pictures I texted to my wife while doing the food shopping….
Yes I’m a sick bastard!
I like to have fun!
Sean Penn…get it…Champagne, lol. Oh Pepe, you slay me!
The shopping trip only took 2 hours and everyone was looking at me like I had a mental problem. They were just jealous that I do not hide my freak flag. I wave that baby back and forth with pride!
