Hurricane Forcasting Doesn’t Work…Who Knew?

So two Forecasters of Hurricane Predictions decided they aren’t going to do it anymore because it doesn’t work.  Sometimes Math sucks…I think this would be one of those times.

Sometimes it’s not “That the wind is blowin’…it’s WHAT the wind is blowin”.

As is evidence here.  So no matter how strong the winds…don’t be outside when it’s heavily raining and the wind is a gustin’!

A Norwegian Nightmare

I was perusing my news this am to be jolted by the news from Norway, homeland of my beloved BjornThere is a butter shortage!!!  This scary news was not received well with me.  My veins are filled with butter and buttery like substances.  A world without butter is a world I’m not sure I want to live in.

Butter is fun 🙂

I wish the Norwegians good luck and Godspeed.  They expect the butter to be back in supply sometime in January.

A December To Remember

No I didn’t get a new Audi.  Who gives a leased car as a Christmas Present anyway?

This past weekend we went to see “A Christmas Carol…The Musical”.  It was truly bizarre.  It was a production put on by the local High School.  First let me say that the kids did an amazing job.  They gave it their all and were great.

My thingy came from the fact that it was a musical.  I guess it was odd for me to see the ghosts all breaking out in show tune melody.  Jacob Marley isn’t as scary when he’s got dance moves.  It made me want to forgo the old formality of calling the author Charles for the new trendy version of Chaz Dickens.

I’m glad I got to see it but I think I’ll stick to the play version.

God Bless Us…Everyone!

Ah…The Gutter…It’s Been Too Long

Because I basically am an infantile and sophomoric person I find dirty humor the funniest.  Mother would surely not be proud.

My friend “George Clooney” was wearing this shirt which I totally loved and laughed at because it was awesome funny 😉

Do I really need to help you to that dirty place I went to when I saw this sign?  It still makes me laugh!

Sheldon’s Not The Only One Who Likes Trains

For my Birthday Bean gave me a membership to one of my favorite places…the Morris Arboretum.  I LOVE it!

Living in the Mid-Atlantic region of the country is awesome as we get to enjoy all that the four seasons has to offer.  We are now heading into the winter months and specifically Christmas time.   This time of year brings one of my favorite features…the holiday trains display.

Santa was even on one of the trains…it was a fast train…that’s why Santa’s all blurry.  That man is always in a hurry, lol.

The famous Thomas the Tank Engine was on hand to greet the children of all ages…that would be kids and…well big kids like myself 😉

The day was waning and I didn’t want to leave.  Bean reminded me that now I can come whenever I want.  I can’t wait to have lunch there this week 😉
